NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Test of the

 

Automatic Tabulating Insight and the Edge voting equipment,

 

for the Spring Primary Election on  

 

February 20, 2018

 

will be conducted at the Auburn Town Hall

 

located at 3826 St Hwy 64

at

1:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2018

 

 

This public test is open to the general public.

 


Notice of Polling Place and Board of Canvas for the Spring Primary Election

 

 

LOCATION AND HOURS OF POLLING PLACE

 

At the Spring Primary Election to be held on February 20, 2018

in the Town of Auburn, the following polling place location will be used

 

 the Auburn Town Hall 3826 State Hwy 64, Bloomer, WI 54724. 

 

The polls will be open at 7 A.M. and will close at 8:00 P.M.

 

At the close of voting on Election Day, pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. § 19.84,

the Election Inspectors at each polling place will convene as the Local Canvassing Board

for the purpose of conducting the local canvass pursuant to Wis. Stat. §7.51. This

meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§ 19.81-89.

 

At the close of voting on Election Day, pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. § 19.84,

the Election Inspectors will convene as a joint meeting of the Local Board of Canvassers

and the Municipal Board of Canvassers for the purpose of conducting the local and

municipal canvasses pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§7.51 and 7.53(1). This meeting will be

open to the public pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§ 19.81-89.

BOARD MEETING NOTICE

 

 

On January 18, 2018 there will be at least 2 of the Auburn Town Board members attending the meeting of the New Auburn Fire Department in New Auburn, WI. This means there could be a quorum of Town of Auburn Board members at this meeting.

The purpose of the Board members attending this meeting is to find out if we can work on a solution to the issue of first responders arriving to help in an emergency even if this is not in their territory.

 

This meeting begins at 7:00 pm and is meeting at the Fire Hall in New Auburn.

available for inspection, by appointment at the town clerk’s home, at 1811 State Hwy 64,           on Monday through Friday.  The following is a summary of the proposed 2017 budget:

  1. To adopt the town levy to be paid in 2018 pursuant to section

60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes.

  1. To approve the total year 2018 highway expenditures pursuant

to Section 81.01(3)
